Screw guys. I never want to see another male ever...Not a single one.
I am so fed up with the way I've been treated lately. I truly deserve better, I know it.

Colorguard!!!!!
YIPPEEE!
That was dumb. I'm sorry. Lol. But I am super excited. I just got hired by the GHS band to work with the color guard for this marching band season! It's like, a dream. I love colorguard..I've been obsessed with everything colorguard for the last three years. It is a HUGE part of my life. I may not be that great at it compared to drum corps but I have the heart and I think that's all that matters :) My official job is to be their instructor: to teach them flag and rifle and to learn the choreography and teach them that too. I also make sure they are on task and get the most out of their day. I wasn't told all of this but that's about the gist of it. I get to pick out the flags and work with the uniforms and prettymuch control all things colorguard (very scary thought). Ah, but this also means that the success of the colorguard rests on my shoulders. If we don't look good it will be on me. If the flag colors don't match the music it will be on me. If the uniforms aren't perfect..well, just about everyone is helping with them so it won't all be on me. Lol. If we don't do good at competitions, which is my biggest fear, it will be MY fault for not working hard enough and not being good at being an instructor! This is a huge responsibility that I CAN'T slack off with. Not that I like, ever slack off when it comes to colorguard, but still.
In the back of my mind, I can't help but think that I have other things to teach too. Here are my thoughts..if I work really hard and put my all into this (with learning and creating the work) and make sure we are always working hard and being productive and we succeed (which I was planning on, I just want to rant about it,) it will do a lot for these girls. Like, hopefully it will show them that if you have the drive to do it and you work hard you can succeed at anything. That is an amazing feeling that I was lucky enough to experience throughout my high school band years! But if we talk and goof off, which they wouldn't do even if I wanted to haha (last year we worked our butts off and I think it gave them this drive to work hard,) I feel like it will be instilling bad habits and values into them. I am being watched. Lol. So, it is a huge responsibility that I hope I won't regret taking!!

Ben and Bugs.
Shoes: Check!
Khaki Pants: Check!
Shake Shoppe Shirt: Check!
Red Blistering Hives All Over Body: Wait...what? CHECK!
This is insane. Ok, last night my father came into town (technically CDP or Census Designated Place, as our "town" is 2.4 square miles..lol) to drop off my brother who had been living with him for the summer. We went hiking in the woods to spend some quality country time together and we all came back with bites all over our bodies! Dad said they were chiggers since there weren't many mosquitoes, and that's just gross. I have them all over my neck, three on my face (which aren't noticeable thank heavens,) and some on my hands, arms and legs. How they got to my neck I'll never know, but it's bad!!
The worst part about it? I have to go to work in 45 minutes!! I look like I have some kind of disease! I went in to work earlier to ask what I should do and they said to come in anyway, but I'm a little worried about what people will think. I mean, when people come to order food, they don't want to be waited on by someone with band-aids and what look like sores all over them.. At least I wouldn't lol! Oh well.. there's nothing I can do. I need to work as much as they need me to work. =/
So, that's part of what's on my mind. The other part is my bubby. My [not so "baby"] bruver. I am so super glad he is home, as I've told him 5 bazillion times lol. You never realize how much you miss them until they've left for a month! I know people say that a lot. But it's so totally true, even for siblings. And especially for my brother, as he's one of my best friends! Aaand, I need to go put band-aids on before my friend picks me up for work so I'll write more tonight.
Ok back. Anyway. My brother really is one of my best friends. We understand each other in a really cool way, and it makes for some awesomely deep conversations and a lot of shared interests! A little about Ben.. He's 15, super intelligent, very mature for his age, and has a great sense of humor. He plays the saxophone in band and although he thinks he's no good at it, he is truly very musically inclined, even if not on an instrument. He has an ear for music and could probably compose music just like he draws and writes stories, which is pretty cool and something I envy. One thing that I think is so awesome that I HAVE to tell you about is Ben's computer abilities. Ben, is a computer GENIUS in my eyes. No normal 15 year old can do the stuff he does on a computer. Ok, some can apparently but very few and none I've ever met. He spends countless hours in front of the thing (like right now) writing in weird like computery language to do just about anything- including modding and making video games. He has been working on a game based off of the game Terraria, where you have a randomly generated world and tools to work with and you have to survive monsters and stuff. It's pretty cool but he doesn't have it finished. I'll post a pictures when I can. When you make a game, you have to start from the beginning--gravity and how it looks and how fast things go and how the arms move on a character and how the lighting works and absolutely everything has to be thought out and the computer has to be taught how to do it. Idk, it confuses me a lot. He also mods games like Minecraft which is pretty cool. Modding, or Modifying, is just messing with the inner workings of the game to change the game to your likings..in case you didn't know :) He also knows a lot about the insides of computers, enough that we trusted him to rip our family computer open to add a new graphics card. Which doesn't sound hard but it looked really crazy in there! He knows a lot about operating systems and can do a lot to computers to make them faster, and I bet he could go into computer repair if he wanted to to get rid of viruses and such. Ok, I'm sleepy so that's enough about my best friend for now. I know, blah blah, computer blah, I just think it's really interesting. Goodnight, Ciao :)

A letter to...
iTunes
Y U B so confusing? I'm trying to get album info so I can have album artwork on iTunes! I've been at it for about 5 hours now. I think I messed it up when I first put songs on my computer from my iPod, I copied them to the wrong place..Now I'm totally lost. Been trying to move files without having to replace every single song on iTunes. Using a program called SharePod to take music from my iPhone to put under "iTunes Media" folder. Working well, but now I have to move the default file location on iTunes, without having every song say "Cannot find file location" or something of the sort. Soo lost. Also tried Rinse and TuneUp to find artwork but they're both free trials and are $40 to buy. (Rinse still worked great and if I had the money to spend on stuff like that I would totally buy it)
Edit: SharePod is amazing!! Still had to delete library and import every song individually but everything works perfectly now!! :{>
Grass
Cutting grass tonight. I haven't done it in over two months. I'm such a wimp when it comes to cutting grass.. I've got allergies that stir up so I'm out there with tissues and such, and I happen to be scared of loud machines that can possible chop my foot off so I have to be like super careful. Also, it's like 98 degrees outside!! I recently met someone who actually liked cutting grass. I don't see how. You go back and forth and back and forth for like an hour and a half on my yard, and my yard isn't even that big! Maybe if you had some really awesome music to get pumped up to. Which I do, hehe. Idk, I'll let you know how it goes when I get around to doing it.

Bargain Shopping!
Ohhh Yeahhhhh. Lol! Isn't it gorgeous? And look at all the pocketsss :D! Perfect for my organizing fits!! And it's that really soft leather!! It's a beautiful dark green too...ahh I just love it! Lol.
So guess how much this baby was originally?
$60. Not too bad for a nice purse, but wayyyy too high for my shake shoppe budget. I usually pay around $20 for one. Along with coupons and a discount at the register, I got this gorgeous thing for $15.

Total Work Rant.

The Ironton Shake Shoppe. AKA my job! :)
I love this place. Well, I mean who loves their job.. but I used to work at McDonalds and compared to that this place is so chill! Don't get me wrong, there are rules and you are expected to work hard, but the stress level is nowhere near Micky-D's! The only thing I don't like about this job is the fact that I am just terrible at it. Lol! Seriously. I'm getting better but like, I tend to forget things easily.. and at this place that can't happen lol! I know people look at me like I'm a nutcase..but it's like, my mind likes to think of everything at once, not just the order I'm on. I'll be going to get an ice cream cone cause I heard someone at the window order one, then realize the order I have in my hand has something completely different xP I guess it's not funny, it's quite sad actually, but like I said, I'm getting better!!
The reason I'm writing about the Shake Shoppe is this week I'm working four days in a row which never happens. Lol this would be awesome if it weren't SUNNY, WARM and a HOLIDAY WEEKEND!! Ohh and it's also the first of the month, and in the community I live in that's like a holiday in itself!!
I just got off work today (4-9:30) and it was sooo super busy. There were terrible wait times for the customers which I hate cause they get mean easier..lol. Yeah, everyone was aggravated and hot, it was just not fun! I hope the next two days aren't like today [Note: They were,] I came home covered in shake from head to toe. Literally, I had ice cream all over my shoes haha :) But it's all good, it's money! Well technically it's a phone payment lol, but, you gotta do what you gotta do, right?
This is a boring post, I know, but it can also double as advertisement..teehee. Come to the Ironton Shake Shoppe! Our food (especially ice cream and hot fudge cakes) are amazing!! (Except the burgers, they're thin. Get a quarter pounder. Lol.) But yeah..haha. On to the next post! :]
